Toni's Review of Raw Desire by Kate Pearce ***3.5 Stars***

Image
Unforgettable Pleasure Ally Kendal knows returning to her hometown to sell her mother's house isn't going to be easy. She left in disgrace years ago and hasn't been back since. But she's never forgotten the one man who awakened in her a secret yearning for wildly erotic sexual pleasure. . . Undeniable Desire Rob Ward is surprised at the surge of desire he feels when he first sees Ally after all this time. He's gotten over the betrayal he felt when he found her and his best friend together on the eve of his wedding, but it's obvious he's never given up wanting her. And now that she's back he'll show her what she's missed, how good he makes her feel, how easy it is for him to take control and bring her to the edge of sweet surrender. . . ***************** Running away from the past is never a good thing. It’s time to handle the errors of the past and move forward into the future. Three lives are about to change, but can they accept the life that

Welcome to Author Bambi M Gray of Blood Cursed Series!

Image
I'm very proud to introduce Author Bambi M Gray to Books Read 'N' Makup Done.  She has a wonderful series out and I had the pleasure of reading her first book in the series and I loved it.  I hope that you will give her a warm welcome! Thank you Bambi for visiting! Tree Knot Gazette’s Field reporter Tammy Foliage was lucky enough to catch up with Mia Sanders and the Iron Heart Faction. This is her story. Super creepy hotel. Not my idea of a great place to do an interview. I was headed out to meet up with Mia Sanders. I’m sure you’ve heard by now about this remarkable dhampiresa. Born to a vampire father and human mother is remarkable but on top of that she has some dark secrets (that include a notoriously evil individual) and a quest Mia and her group are on. Also a little love triangle has come to be. To sum it up we have some dark secrets, a love triangle, and an important quest all explained in this interview. So sit back and enjoy. Now back to the super creepy h

4 Stars for The Heart of War by Lisa Beth Darling

Image
Inside the Heart of every Warrior breathes the Soul of a Hero--even within The Heart of War. Meet Ares God of War, the greatest Warrior the world has ever known. He's moody, grumpy, dominant, ravenously sexual, and above all, built like a Greek God. Suspected of killing his Daughter in-Law, Psyche, and long in exile from Olympus, the solitude of Ares' secluded Greek Isle is interrupted when Magdalena MacLeod a plucky little Fey washes up on his shore after believing she's been shipwrecked. It's not mere fate that has brought the unlikely couple together yet it may be what tears them apart. Branded with a golden chastity belt bearing the mark of Cernunnos, Celtic God of the Forest and Death, Alena has been on the run from her husband the Great Horned God for 200 years. When the Olympians discover her presence on Ares' island, they send Apollo to the island while Ares is away with orders to bring her to Olympus. With nowhere to run and strikes

Shanon Grey's Character Interview!!!!!!!!!

Image
If this picture is any indication of how this interview will go... Well... let's just say it's got to be WOW and AWESOME! I'd like to introduce and welcome one of my favourite Authors and luckily for me my friend Shanon Grey . She has kindly provided us with Superb Interview between her and her book's gorgeous Hero Dorian Drake! *APPLAUSE* Interview with Dorian Drake by Shanon Grey It was one of those bright, hot, late summer days that kept the temperature hovering around ninety when I pulled into Ruthorford, Georgia. Even so, the town was as quaint as any I could have imagined. A fountain sprayed cool water high into the air, its mist touching me and giving back the slight curl that I’d worked so hard to get rid of this morning. The sign, The Shoppe of Spells, rose above the shop, almost as a taunt. The sun glinted off crystals nestled among bottles positioned just so, making the windows sparkle. As I opened the door and stepped into the cool interior, a bell ti

What's for Supper?

Image
I thought I'd do a fun little segment once a week called "What's for supper" and show you something I cooked for supper.  Just 1 day a week.  Might jog you ideas of what to make for supper for your family.  I know I struggle some days for an idea of what to cook.  Last week I made a Beef Stir-fry. This is a fast and very easy meal.  All you need is: Cut Beef (small-medium pack) Bag of Frozen Stir-fry Veggies A bottle of Honey-garlic VH Sauce Just cook your meat in a little but of virgin Olive oil.  When it's cooked throw in your veggies and sauce.  Cook until the veggies are soft. On the side I cook some rice. It's just minute rice with a little Margarine, salt, pepper and Oregano. Here's what it looks like all put together. Well that's my supper, hope you like it and will do something new next week :D Leanne

Back to the 80's then brought it back to 2011

Image
I have decided to start working on Halloween makeup looks and the first look I did was an 80's Pop Star look.  Now, this is what my daughter is going to be for Halloween and I will most likely do the same look for her but add a lightening bolt to her cheek. Here it is on paper. For the look I did I did a full foundation and primer all over, darkened my eyebrows because they are naturally blonde.  I also contoured my face to make my cheeks more prominent.  For most of my makeup I used  Mae Minerals . Here are some pictures of me in my 80's look for Halloween minus the lightening bolt. When I was done doing this look I wondered to myself if it would be possible to take this 80's look back to 2011.  I cleaned off a little bit of the colour and blended the blue (Peace from Mae Minerals) and I'm good for the day.  I managed to make an old look new :) Well that's my first Halloween look for the season, the rest will be a lot more intricate be sure keep an eye out
